I dreamt that I was the home of my cousin and her husband. They had bought and moved to a different place. The property was similar to where they live now in real life in that it was wooded and on a hill. The house was a cottage style and was on the top of the hill. The exterior was white with salmon colored window frames and shutters. The interior was bright and warm with a lot of solid wood paneling, hard wood flooring, windows and natural light. The garage/workshop was down the hill and visible from the dining room, which had two walls of windows on that corner of the house. My cousin and I were talking while walking through the dining room. The garage exterior was wood siding. We could see lights inside. I think the guys had been in there a few minutes before. Just as we spotted a fire on the garage roof, someone came into the room to tell us the garage was on fire. He was calm and nonchalant. I think he represented her step father-in-law. We could see three spots of fire. One was larger than the other two. The smaller ones were near metal plates where electric and other wires entered the building. My cousin and I ran toward the garage, me asking where the fire extinguishers were and her calling 911. No one else was concerned about the fire. Watching the metal plates and small flames near them, I understood that these fires were caused by some kind of energy field.
This dream may represent feelings of responsibility and caregiving towards your cousin and her family. The house and property symbolize a safe and comforting environment that is familiar to you. The sudden fire in the garage could indicate a sense of urgency or crisis that needs to be addressed.
Your cousin's step father-in-law appearing calm and nonchalant could symbolize a need to remain composed and practical in the face of challenges or unexpected events. Your immediate reaction to try to find fire extinguishers and call for help shows a sense of taking charge and problem-solving in times of crisis.
The presence of the fire near metal plates and wires could represent a symbolic disruption or potential danger related to energy or communication in your waking life. This may suggest a need to pay attention to potential sources of conflict or challenges that could arise unexpectedly.
Overall, this dream may indicate a subconscious awareness of potential conflicts or challenges in your waking life and a need to address them promptly and effectively to maintain a sense of safety and security.
